The first day of classes has come and gone, but you may be able to still register if there are spaces available!

Classes - 2024/2025 Season

Creative Drama (3-6)

Participants will learn about how their bodies move through space, gain awareness of the world around them, and move toward autonomy and imagination-based creative play

Please keep in mind that class size is limited to ten (10) participants, and parents must remain in building during class.

  • This class meets 1x/wk.
  • Mondays, 4:30pm - 5:00pm.

Acting Primer (6 - 9)

Learn the basics of acting, or hone in on your skills to prepare for participation in school and community theater. Explore character development, audition techniques, and rehearsal expectations. All levels of experience in this age group welcome. Depending on class dynamics, students may be able to perform a group scene by the end of the quarter. 

  • This class meets 1x/wk.
  • Tuesdays, 3:00pm - 3:45pm.

*There is an advanced version of this class on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00pm, which focuses more on professional practices for character development and script analysis to prepare for refined performances. Please call for more information, or select "Register for Acting Primer" below, then select the Semester Calendar on the registration platform.

Register for Acting Primer

Youth Acting (9-12)

Learn the basics of acting, or hone in on your skills to prepare for participation in school and community theater. Explore character development, audition techniques, and rehearsal expectations. All levels of experience in this age group welcome. Students will be able to perform a monologue or group scene by themself on stage by the end of the quarter.

  • This class meets 1x/wk.
  • Tuesdays, 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

*There is an advanced version of this class on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm, which focuses more on professional practices for character development and script analysis to prepare for refined performances. Please call for more information, or select "Register for Acting Primer" below, then select the Semester Calendar on the registration platform.

Middle School Acting (12 - 14)

Learn the basics of acting, or hone in on your skills to prepare for participation in school and community theater. Explore character development, audition techniques, and rehearsal expectations. All levels of experience in this age group welcome. Students will be able to perform a monologue and a partnered scene by the end of the quarter.

  • This class meets 1x/wk.
  • Mondays, 3:45pm - 4:45pm

Register for Middle School Acting

High School Acting (14-18)

Learn the basics of acting, or hone in on your skills to prepare for participation in school and community theater. Explore character development, audition techniques, and rehearsal expectations. All levels of experience in this age group welcome. Students will be able to perform two monologues and a partnered scene by the end of the quarter.

This class meets 1×/wk.

Youth Performance Troupe (8-18)

The Youth Performance Troupe is an "Audition Only" cohort. AUDITIONS OPEN - please schedule an audition through the audition link below.

Students who are selected for the performance troupe will work with studio owner, Rikki Jo Hickey, to produce a one act play. All participants will be involved in multiple aspects of the production with the aim to introduce and prepare students for a variety of theatrical positions.

This cohort is open to students ages 8 - 18 that have both auditioned and been selected for the cohort.

mNemosyne Theatre Collective (18+)

This collective is currently being designed. Audition notices will be posted in the future. If interested in joining the theatre collective, please contact the studio.

Chosen Family Improv (18+)

The Chosen Family Improv is a monthly event, designed with inclusivity and group building at the heart of all activities/exercises//games.

Donations are accepted for mNemosyne Youth Scholarships program.

Last Wednesday of each month:

7:30pm - 9:00pm

mNemosyne SWS (Specialty Workshop Series)

The Specialty Workshop Series are monthly or bi-monthly events that explore the same topics each session for a set number of weeks: ex. Shakespeare Acting, Stage Management, Directing, Puppetry, etc. 


As Workshop Series are created, they will be added to the website.
